User participation is considered an integral part of ensuring the quality of eHealth research and services. The aim of this project is to try out three models for ensuring user feedback to programme activities. The project is carried out in close cooperation with the association of disabled people's organisations in Norway (FFO).
A netbased user forum will be established at http//www.helse-vett.no spring 2003 in cooperation with four of the member organisations of FFO as well as The Union of the Blind.
A user panel with members appointed by the Association of Disabled Peoples' Organisations will secure continuous user feedback regarding information quality and project profile within the eHealth consumer programme of the Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine.
A user conference will be organised on a yearly basis in cooperation with FFO. Issues concerning information quality as well as strategic considerations will provide the basis for discussions.
By triangulation of the three models for user feedback, we hope to be able to clarify aspects of feasability inherent in the different approaches to user participation in ehealth developments.
January 2003 - January 2004.
