Users' experiences

A process of democratization and a client-based perspective in the health service have had the result that the relationship between service provider and patient is based to a greater extent on cooperation, co-determination and joint responsibility.

The Act relating to Patients' Rights [Pasientrettighetsloven] states that there should be an interactive process between the patient and the service provider during treatment.

Centred on the user

The Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine strives for user participation in all development work related to patients. We define users as an important resource in our research.

Here, we present users' own experiences with telemedicine services that they have been involved in developing and/or testing.
