Passport and visa requirements
Entrance to Norway is visa free for citizens of most countries, but you are advised to check at the Norwegian embassies and/or consulates in your country. Participants who need visa are strongly recommended to make their application in their home countries at least 2 months before the intended date of travel.
How to reach Tromsø
It's easy to get to Tromsø by air. From the capital Oslo it takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes. There are several direct flights every day. SAS operates flights from most cities to Tromsø Airport Langnes. From Oslo there is "budget" air travel by Norwegian Air Shuttle.
Note also that there might be discounts on air fares if your stay in Tromsø includes the night between Saturday and Sunday. Why not grasp this opportunity to enjoy the weekend in the town known as the Gateway to the Arctic?

Accommodation
Tromsø Event AS handles all conference registrations. Please ask for accommodation when filling in the registration form. The conference cooperates with several hotels and negotiated prices are available for conference delegates when booking through Tromsø Event AS.
The Radisson SAS hotel - the conference venue - is located right in the spectacular nature: the deep blue sea that you can dive in and majestic mountain peaks that you can ascend. The hotel offers 195 rooms with all imaginable facilities, top modern conference room and a restaurant with an excellent reputation. The hotel is opening a new wing in the summer of 2007. It will then be able to offer a total of 270 rooms, 10 of which will be suites. Prices: 1155,-/1360,-(per room)
