The minister is visiting Tromsø in connection with a hearing round which the Ministry of Trade and Industry is carrying out, on the use of broadband. The hearing round will focus on local experiences with making use of broadband and will conduce to a white paper about this subject. At the Norwegian Centre of Telemedicine, Mr. Gabrielsen will have a demonstration of practical examples and advantages of broadband being accessible all around the country.
