Do we care? And how do we care for elderly people today and in the future? With fewer young people around to take care of the increasing number of older people, how are we going to cope?
As a growing proportion of the world’s population is aging, a key challenge is how to provide high quality of care to senior citizens. Information and communication technologies (ICT) are highlighted as a means to meet the challenges of tomorrow’s healthcare sector.
You can participate as a delegate, submitting an abstract for oral presentation, poster or ePoster presentation, giving a tutorial, or arranging a workshop or symposium. And you can participate as an exhibitor.
We would like to invite you to register for the Tromsø Telemedicine and eHealth Conference (TTeC) 2007, “Elderly – Who Cares?” to be held from 11 to 13 June 2007 in Tromsø, Norway. Our online registration system is now open. WELCOME!
The TTeC 2007 conference aims to promote practice, research and development within the field of telemedicine and eHealth in elder care. The conference will provide a meeting place for exchanging knowledge and debating strategies between the key players. This event will strengthen efforts to maximize the potential for technology initiatives that contribute to better healthcare and quality of life for the elderly.
This conference is a platform for contributors to present their research or other work, and we invite state-of-the-art presentations as well as perspectives on the future related to key issues such as:
