My virus will soon be older than the doctor who treats me. I know all about how it affects my life. So I ask for respect for my expertise on my own illness," said Ian Kramer - who lives with HIV - at his presentation during the Tromsø Telemedicine and eHealth Conference in Tromsø.

Facts about TTeC 2004:

Tromsø Telemedicine and eHealth Conference was held from 21 to 23 June 2004.
This year is the fifth time the Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine is organizing the conference, which gathers some 300 participants from 23 countries over 3 days. This years theme is "Citizen participation in eHealth: Challenges for research, technologies and health care organisations".
