Join-In

Join-In addresses methodologies and technologies for elderly persons to enable them to participate in social activities such as games and home-based exercise-games, e.g. for physical exercises improving the health for elderly and chronically ill.

Project description

Join-in is one of three projects with Norwegian participation that got funding under the European second call for Ambient Assisted Living (AAL). The Norwegian partners are NST/UNN and Norut. NST and Norut also collaborate in the IS-ACTIVE project funded by the first AAL-call.

Join-In is part of a project portfolio at NST/Norut making personal healthcare technologies and services for in-house and while on the move for the chronically ill: MyHealthService (2007 - 2011), IS-ACTIVE (2009-2012), Well@Home / Better Breathing (2007 - 2009) and MinHelsestasjon (2005 - 2006)
