Aim
The objective of the workshop is to provide participants with tools as how to develop, investigate and implement TeleMedicine Tools that lead to efficiency increase of regular healthcare. Items as safety, user-friendliness, standardisation, compatibility with electronic health records, proof of concept, broad-basic trust, legal aspects and reimbursement
Concept/Particpation
The Health Management Practice model includes development, four phased field research en implementation strategies for the safe, prosperous and socio-economic well-considered introduction of new TeleMedicine services. In the workshop, in a practical way these methods and strategies are discussed with the participants. After a training of the use the TDCS, groups of 4 – 5 participants with comparable regional or national health systems develop their implementation plan and business model of this TeleMedicine Service. They are free to use aspects of the Health Management Practice model. Subsequently, the proposed models are compared plenary with the implementation model of the TDCS. The workshop closes with a general discussion, closing remarks and conclusions.
