Workshops
In addition to the TTeC conference programme, a number of workshops (workgroup meetings) will be arranged. These workshops will be open to all registered TTeC participants, unless otherwise stated. All workshops will have a limited number of participants. TTeC 2007 is an international conference and the official language of the conference is English. There will be one workshop in Norwegian.

Health Management Practice as an implementation tool for TeleMedicine Services
The Health Management Practice model is a new method through which efficiency enhancing innovative instruments can be developed, investigated and introduced into regular healthcare. It has enabled KSYOS TeleMedical Centre to upscale the use of the TeleDermatology Consultation System (TDCS) on a large scale through its’ officially reimbursed network of 1400 general practitioners and dermatologists. KSYOS TeleMedical Centre has been officially recognized as the first virtual hospital in The Netherlands that focuses on the provision of TeleMedicine services.

A national mini-seminar (in Norwegian) will be arranged as a follow-up to the symposium on legal and security aspects. The intended audience will be health executives at national, regional, and local level, healthcare workers, system developers and suppliers, research scientists, and users/citizens/patients.

NST ønsker å invitere til en workshop hvor ulike aktører fra ulike steder i landet kan utveksle ideer om telemedisins potensial for eget område og erfaringer med telemedisin som samhandlingsredskap innen DMSer, sykestuer eller intermediæravdelinger.
