Danish-Norwegian Workshop on ehealth consumer trends

Background
The work-shop is a joint Danish-Norwegian event focusing on the Nordic dimension of the project, "WHO/ European survey on eHealth consumer trends" (ehealth Trends). The aim of the project is to investigate European health consumer's use of, their attitudes to and their desires with regards to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for health purposes, eHealth. The Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine (NST) is the co-ordinator of the project which is co-funded by the European Commission, DG Sanco. The project started 1 June 2005 with the first survey conducted during October/November 2005, in Denmark, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Poland and Portugal.

Aim
The aim of the workshop is to present similarities and differences in the results from the Danish and Norwegian population. Further, the workshop will discuss future actions, like expanding the survey, in scope as well as into more countries.

Concept
The concept of the workshop is to invite the health care authorities and other policy-makers from Denmark and Norway. The workshop will be open to other participants based on their interest and up to a certain number. The workshop will be held in Danish/Norwegian language. The workshop is free of charge of TTeC-participants.
