Trine S Bergmo jobber med å analysere konsekvensene av å bruke telemedisin som samhandlingsverktøy for å bedre kommunikasjon og informasjonsutveksling i helsevesenet. Hovedfokus er på metodiske tilnærminger og utfordringer i å forske på nye samhandlingsformer og pasientforløp.

Forskning på samhandling og pasientforløp, økonomiske beslutningsmodeller og finansieringsmodeller og motivasjon for bedre samhandling og bruk av telemedisin.
