Telemedicine is care over distance

Telemedicine, in the simplest term, is ICT for health purposes. It is about exchanging patient information between health personnel that are treating or otherwise taking care of patients. Telemedicine also gives the patient the opportunity to have contact directly with health personnel from their own homes, via PC’s, laptops, cellphones or their TV.
