Accessability on www.telemed.no

We have tried to make telemed.no more user friendly for people with various disabilities. For example, we have tried to make things easier for those that don't use a mouse when surfing our website, or those that have reduced eyesight.

Adjusting the text size

You can resize the text by clicking on one of the A's in the upper right corner (below the search form).
You can also resize the text in many levels by entering the menu in your browser or holding down the [Ctrl]-key while scrolling your mouse wheel up or down.

In the menu in your web browser:

Internet Explorer/Firefox: View -> Text Size
Mozilla: View -> Text Zoom
Opera: View -> Zoom

Accesskeys

We are utilizing accesskeys on telemed.no to make it easier to navigate our website with the help of just your keyboard.

This is how you do it:

Internet Explorer: [Alt] + [Accesskey] (let go of keys) [Enter] - new page loads
Firefox/Mozilla: [Alt] + [Shift] + [Accesskey] - new page loads
Firefox/Mozilla (Mac): [Ctrl] + [Accesskey] - new page loads
Opera: [Shift] + [Esc] (let go of keys) [Accesskey] - new page loads

Accesskeys in the main menu:

[h] - Home
[s] - Services
[r] - Research
[i] - Innovation
[a] - About NST

In addition to this you can use the [Tab]-key to jump between links and form fields on the webpage. Press [Enter] to load a page when an item is made active by the [Tab]-key.
